ABOUT WHITNEY OWENS

My path to this work has been winding and deeply transformative. I spent over a decade as a licensed therapist, working as a clinician to help people heal and build more meaningful lives. Outside of my clinical work, I had an interest in spiritual matters which had been present since childhood. I had always experienced an intuitive knowing about people, animals, and situations, feeling connected to and guided by some higher power. Growing up in a religious home, that power had a specific name and title inside as my understanding at that time existed inside a religious system. 

I studied both theology and psychology in my undergraduate and graduate education, and as time went on, I began questioning the system I was raised in. Though I was helping people heal in my work as a therapist, I felt that there was something more. In time, I read the works of Michael Newton, Phd, Brian Weiss M.D., Dolores Cannon, Dr. John Mack, and Chris Bledsoe. My understanding was greatly expanded by their work, and I began experiencing spiritual gifts opening for me. I first studied mediumship, which confirmed for me that we continue our existence beyond these physical bodies. I was then led to study energy healing with Christine Lang, Medical Intuitive, Spirit Channel, and Intuitive Energy Healer. I completed the certification program for Christine’s 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level Intuitive Energy Healing Attunements. In these trainings I learned to communicate with both my spirit and other people’s spirits, channel healing energy, and communicate animals and plants. Around this time, the Telepathy Tapes were released, deepening our collective understanding of the interconnectedness of all life and our innate abilities to connect and communicate with all beings.

Also during this time of deep study and training, I was fortunate enough to work with and learn from indigenous and ancestral wisdom. As an experiencer of interdimensional phenomenon and beings, I sought out the wisdom of indigenous people who have known about the many dimensions of existence that we are all connected to for thousands of years.

I have been blessed to learn from the Andean cosmovision through Mitzy Clementina Bautista, a Bolivian-American spiritual teacher, consultant, and lineaged carrier of the Andean tradition. Her guidance helped me deepen my understanding of ancestral healing, our relationship with the earth, and how be a loving steward of the land by living in a relationship of reciprocity and respect. In addition to my work with Mitzy, I had the honor of being taught and helped by the Mamos of Columbia, specifically Kandymaku Busintana, the guardian and messenger of the peoples of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. The Mamos are carriers of initiations and have an ancient connection to the Star People. Their generous work with me has helped me step into my purpose of connecting with beings across realms.

I honor all of my teachers who have brought me to where I am today. In this time of profound change, many people are awakening and seeking a way forward. I am passionate about helping people reconnect with their spiritual center and discover the guidance, support, and healing that is available to them.

My work supports those who have experienced encounters with beings beyond our familiar reality and who need a safe, compassionate space to process and heal, those seeking energy healing for physical, emotional, or spiritual challenges, people wishing to deepen their connection with their animals, and spiritual seekers exploring their path and the calling of their soul.
